Masters as principal and Martin Collins and Joseph [sp? may be Houghey, Youghey...] as securities of the county of Cape Girardeau in the State of Missouri, are held and firmly bound to the State of Missouri in the sum of Eight hundred Dollars of lawful money for the payment whereof well and truly to be made adn done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severall, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals this 29th day of December A.D. eighteen hundred and fifty-seven. The condition of the above Bond is such, that if John F. Masters administrator of the estate of David Masters- deceased, shall faithfully administer said estate, account for, pay and deliver all money and property of said estate and perform all other things touching said administration required by law, or the order or decree of any Court having jurisdiction, then the above bond to be void, otherwise to remain in full force.
